What is Showboat?
Showboat is a game changing platform that directly connects football Players and Clubs, at all levels, to facilitate the recruitment of new talent.
This new platform gives Players control over their footballing portfolio and gives Clubs the power to access untapped talent.
How does Showboat work?
Players can create a profile that includes their bio-metrics, club history and most importantly, highlight reels showcasing their skills, training and match play clips.
Clubs will have the ability to search for, filter and shortlist talented players.
Players and Clubs can communicate on the platform to discuss trials and more!

Pre-registration for Players and Clubs is open now, use the contact form below to register your interest and sign up for exclusive updates and first access to the Showboat App!
Once live, we’ll be available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and a Web App version.
Who is Showboat for?
Whether you’re trying to get your break at Professional club, move clubs due to moving areas or just trying find your first club, Showboat was created to make the game accessible for all Footballers across all ages, abilities and genders. Players under 16 will need parental consent to use the platform.
How much does Showboat cost?
Showboat is free for Players to use, simply create an account, update your profile with your highlights and match with clubs!
Subscriptions are needed for Clubs to use the platform.
How can I delete my account
Email support@showboatsports.io and a member of the team will support you in deleting your account and data
What content should I upload to my Showboat Profile?
The Showboat App allows you to create a bio including, Profile picture, name, age, position, availability, footedness, club history and more. Most importantly, you can upload a 60 second video to introduce yourself to prospective Clubs along with clips of your training sessions and match day highlights. Anything to help you rise to the top and be noticed!
How do Clubs match with Players on Showboat?
Clubs can use the innovative search function to filter for Players using metrics such as availability, location, position, age and footedness. Using the Newsfeed, Clubs can also organically find trending Players. In-app messaging then allows seamless contact between Club and Player where trials or contracts can be offered.
What other features does Showboat offer?
As well as helping Players find their Club and aid Clubs with Talent discovers. The App will also serve both users engaging content relating to the world of football.
Beyond the App, Showboat will look to give back to the game supporting Grassroots Football with the Showboat Foundation.
How can I delete content?
Within each post there is a ‘bin icon’ on the bottom right of the video. Click this to delete that piece of content. Within your bio, click the edit bio ‘pen icon’ in the top left to edit profile and content can be replaced here. Make sure you click ‘UPDATE’. Alternatively email support@showboatsports.io to receive support on managing your content.
How can I report content on the app?
All posts can be flagged and reported to the Showboat team, who will be notified and will report back as to whether the posts breaches our terms and will take immediate action. Alternatively email support@showboatsports.io to receive support..
Does the app collect face data?
No, the app does not collect, store, or process facial images or biometric data.
It use Veriffs package, but it does not collect facial images in our implementation.
What information is collected and why?
The app uses Veriff only to verify a user’s age.
If a user is under 18, basic identity verification data is processed to comply with our platform’s requirements.
How is the data stored?
The app does not store any verification data.
Any information processed for verification is securely stored by Veriff, following their privacy and security policies.
How long is the data retained?
If a user is under 18, Veriff retains their verification data for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
If the user is 18 or older, no data is retained.
